We are elated to announce the milestone of our mix-used development The Pulse of Amsterdam.
BCG has signed a long-term lease agreement for approximately 7.800 square meters of office space at The Pulse. The 58.000 square meter building, owned by Union Investment and designed by MVSA Architects & VMX Architects, sets an example of a truly sustainable future for working and living in the Dutch capital city.
BCG has chosen to occupy three floors in the building, offering its employees a stunning atrium and access to a private terrace, as well of the unique hanging park. Their future office will feature Edge’s signature expertise in sustainability, not only optimizing comfort and productivity by bringing a healthy indoor environment, but also allowing them to work in an energy efficient office aligning with BCG’s environmental values.
Office, retail and living spaces in one
As one of the newest additions to the Zuidas district, The Pulse will feature two towers: a residential tower and an office tower, connected by a plinth offering a green oasis for relaxation and biodiversity. Nestled between the towers, at a height of 35 meters on the ninth floor, a spectacular urban forest of approximately 600 sqm will provide another relaxation space for the future office tenants. The building is expected to receive both WELL Platinum and BREEAM Outstanding certifications after completion.
For this transaction, investor Union Investment and real estate developers Edge and VORM were respectively advised by DLVP, and Van Gool Elburg and Loyens & Loeff. Delivery by the construction branch of VORM is on track for November 2024. The Pulse still has over 20,000 sqm office space and several retail available.
